Does anyone every use xanga anymore?  I haven't been on here in FOREVER!!!  Just curious to see if anyone post anything. 

So here is something that is scary-well at least for me so prayers are very much welcome.  Next Thursday I have to go to the doctor for some testing and will be put to sleep for 2 and half to 3 hours during the testing!  I'm scared to death!!!  I've never had any major medical problems-I've not even ever had a broken bone!!  They were going to schedule me for this Thursday but after I asked what all would be done (and got over the shock) I told her I would like it for next week so I could have some time to prepare myself.  I'm sure it's not going to be that bad but like I said I've never been put to sleep and that whole thing of putting people to sleep freaks me out like you wouldn't believe.  So if you think about it would you please pray for me to be calm and relaxed and have understanding that everything is going to be ok and pray that these tests will finally tell me what is going on with me.  I've been having problems since December so it would be a great relief to be back to my normal feeling good self-and I'm sure Andy is ready for that as well-poor guy, but he's been great through everything.

Andy and I just moved to a new apartment last Tuesday and we love it.  We actually have central heat and air in this apartment!  (we had neither in the last apartment)  Phoebe didn't like the new place at first because it's a pretty big apartment complex with 36 buildings and she's not use to all the people around.  Oh and she hated going up the stairs (we got an upstairs apartment)-I had to seriously drag her step by step the first night we stayed there.  We have met a few people in our building who all seem fairly nice-I did encounter a pervert yesterday when Andy and I went swimming.  We were the only two in the pool and Andy had gotten out and went to look at something when I noticed this man walking on the side walk when I looked back at him he was hiding behind the bushes looking at me so I gave him a look like what the crap do you think your doing and he stumbled and then acted like he was still walking-walked right past his stairs and then turned around and went up the stairs and into his apartment.  Why do all the weird people seem to follow me?  Other than freak guy everything has been great at the new place.  Andy's parents came down over the weekend and helped us move the rest of our things and unpack some.  I feel like I got to know his mom better which was great, and Phoebe loved to play with his dad.

Other than living at a new place and loving it, things are pretty calm for us now.  I did get a promotion and raise last week which I'm super excited about.  I am now the front desk manager at the Hilton Garden Inn!!  Go me!  I've waited four years to get that title, now I'm working on Assistant GM and some day General Manager and some day Owner!!  One day it will happen-so don't lose touch with me because all you will have to do when you are traveling is call me and I'll hook you up!  That's what friends are for right? 

Well I guess I'll go look like I'm working, although there is nothing to do and I've already made them aware of this-I hate having nothing to do at work, it makes the time go by incredibley slow!  Anyways, take care - love ya!
